This page has been set up to honour the memory of one of the most special ladies to have ever graced this earth. With a fighting spirit and a genuine smile she continued to brighten the lives of the people she met until her last day with us. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and auntie, above all, Daphne was a friend to all that knew her. Whenever she was around, the sun would shine and now whenever the sun shines I am sure it is her bright smile keeping us all warm. She will be truly missed. It was Daphne's wish that instead of buying flowers, any money should instead be donated to this cause to help with the fight against this terrible disease and spare the generations of the future.
